Fuasi's Organ Ensemble
Fuasi’s Organ Ensemble
is a jazz quartet born from curiosity, friendship, and the joy of exploration. The group took shape through a series of informal rehearsal sessions with longtime collaborator Tal Balshai, a pianist who increasingly found his voice on the Hammond B3 organ. What began as open-ended musical conversations gradually evolved into a focused ensemble with its own distinct sound.
The addition of Gur Liraz on guitar and Tilman Person on drums completed the group, bringing together four musicians with a shared sensitivity to groove, texture, and collective interplay. The ensemble’s repertoire features original compositions alongside select works shaped by influences ranging from Blues, Hard Bop, and Swing to African, Oriental, and Funk traditions—creating a sound that is both rooted and expansive.
Fuasi’s Organ Ensemble is currently in pre-production on its debut CD, scheduled for release in early 2026. The recording marks an important milestone in the quartet’s musical journey, capturing the spirit of discovery that defines the band and offering listeners a rich, dynamic listening experience.
